Privacy Notice

Effective date: October 8, 2026

This notice explains how Not configured collects, uses, discloses, and retains information when you use the Era Forge web game. Privacy questions and requests can be sent to Not configured.

Who the game is for

Era Forge is intended for adults who are at least 18 years old. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us so we can investigate and delete it.

Information we collect

We create a random customer user identifier, or cuid, and store it in a first-party cookie for up to one year. We also use browser storage for a random device account, an access token, game saves, settings, and telemetry waiting to be uploaded. The cuid is not created from your name, email address, advertising ID, or device fingerprint.

Game and telemetry records may include session and active time, device language, referring page, viewport size, stages reached, battle duration, units deployed, outcomes, upgrades, virtual currency, advertising opportunities and results, error information, game and balance versions, and related timestamps. Our hosting and security providers may also process IP address, browser, device, network, and approximate location information as part of delivering and protecting the service.

How we use information

We use information to operate and secure the game, save progress, provide rewards, measure performance, diagnose errors, prevent fraud, understand progression and difficulty, improve features, comply with law, and respond to support and privacy requests. We do not use sensitive personal information to infer characteristics about you.

Advertising and cookies

Once advertising is enabled, the site may use Google AdSense for display advertising and, after separate approval, AdSense H5 Games Ads for optional interstitial or rewarded advertising. Google and its partners may process cookies, IP addresses, device or browser information, advertising interactions, and other identifiers for ad delivery, personalization where permitted, frequency control, measurement, security, and fraud prevention.

We do not sell personal information for money. Disclosures to advertising partners may, however, be treated as a sale, sharing, or targeted advertising under some U.S. state laws. Where required, we will display a privacy choices control before enabling the applicable advertising use. Learn how Google processes information in its partner sites policy and manage Google advertising preferences in Google Ad Settings.

How we disclose information

We may disclose information to hosting, database, security, analytics, customer support, and advertising providers that process it for the purposes described above. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect users or the service, or as part of a merger, financing, acquisition, or transfer of the business. We do not permit service providers to use information for unrelated purposes.

U.S. state privacy rights

Depending on your state, you may have the right to know or access the personal information we process, correct inaccurate information, delete information, obtain a portable copy, and opt out of sale, sharing, targeted advertising, or certain profiling. You may also have the right to appeal a denied request and to receive equal service without unlawful discrimination.

Submit an access, correction, deletion, portability, or appeal request to Not configured. We may need to verify that the request relates to your browser or account. When advertising is enabled, the site will also provide a "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" or equivalent privacy choices control for covered users. We will process recognized browser-based opt-out preference signals, such as Global Privacy Control, where required by applicable law.

Retention and security

We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this notice, including maintaining an active game save, preventing fraud, resolving disputes, and meeting legal, accounting, and security obligations. Retention depends on record type, account activity, sensitivity, and legal requirements. Local records remain on your device until uploaded, replaced, or cleared. We use administrative and technical safeguards, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.

Your browser choices

You can clear this site's cookies and browser storage or use the privacy choices control when available. Clearing browser data removes the local access token and may prevent access to an anonymous cloud save until account recovery is available. Blocking required storage may also prevent progress saving or other core features from working.

International processing and updates

Our providers may process information in the United States and other countries where they operate, subject to appropriate legal safeguards. We will update this notice and its effective date when our practices, providers, or legal obligations materially change.
